Kucinich is trying to do the right thing for history. He knows that this mess will get sent to committee and they will sit on it until January. He wants it read into the congressional record as a gravestone for this period in history.

The enabler is Pelosi. She has no stomach for three months of televised impeachment proceedings, which the right wingers will paint as revenge for Clinton.

So, her calculation is the typical "battered woman" approach, she will let the abuse go on for a few more months, on the concept that it will get better in January.

I am not sure how Bush would fare in impeachment hearings, as he seems so very confused when he speaks. Perhaps he is just not well, mentally. I do not think he remembers specific details clearly enough to be very useful, or defend his actions at an impeachment trial.

There is really no point in fantasizing about impeachments of Bush and Cheney any more. The Congressional dems have voted again to block impeachment. They aren't going to do it. There will be no impeachment.

I suggest all anti-war folks (and Bush-haters too) should start fantasizing about President Obama holding war crimes trials for Bush, Cheney and the evil cabal of neocons who voted to authorize the war in Iraq (i.e. Kerry, Clinton, etc.). There is still a chance that could happen, if enough pressure is brought to bear on Obama.

Bush/Cheney are not alone in this. Almost every member of Congress is guilty of aiding and abetting. It is too easy to blame the president.
We have a chance to "impeach" them all this fall, but we won't.
