$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('eastbay', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dinopello', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('RedStateGreen', 'N')eeds more cowbell.

Too funny!

What's the matter eastbay? The end of an age, collapse and all - not enough for you ?

No, it's not good enough. I want a deeper collapse, a quicker one too because I'm getting tired of waiting ... oh, and I demand a collapse that will take your little dog as well as your kitty collection.

Seems simple enough:

EASTBAY'S GOT A FEVER, AND THE ONLY PRESCRIPTION IS MORE COWBELL!

The cowbell reference was beautiful.

I'm with Pup:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Pops on 4/11/04', 'B')ubbles, bubbles everywhere, real estate over exuberance, weak dollar, current account deficit, huge federal, state and personal debts, jobless recovery. A short-term political or terrorist induced oil crunch could be devastating to this house of cards. Long term I’m still worried about the economy and my non-expert energy outlook is flat and even declining prices for maybe 5-8 years, then at first gradual then accelerating increases thereafter.

And jlw, Zen, RSG, Kathy too. Lots more fun playing virtual reality TEOTWAWKI on the boss's dime than contemplate the real reality version and the things one needs to actually do after work.

BTW I vote EB needs to stick a cowbell in his trap!

I am expecting slow and boring for several years before peak oil really sparks things up. I think we still have some waiting to do.

Hey pops, were you adversely affected by the recent tornado's? I certainly hope all is well with you and that your preparations weren't sidetracked.

Slow and boring is good. Wait until is gets un-boring. That's going to make slow and boring seem like it was fun.

Oh I agree 100%. Slow and boring is definitely where it's at in real life! I was kinda thinking it's getting boring here in cyber-land. The days of real-life boredom are numbered, that's for sure.
