$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('3aidlillahi', 'W')hat was yours, BT?
It's a tough question, because I have a lovely wife and three beautiful kids, but there was one day back in December of 1991....
I was on a road trip with two buddies from Washington DC to Memphis to visit Graceland. We were traveling in this van and had left the night before and after driving all night had found ourselves on some logging roads in what must have been near the northeast corner of Tennessee.
We stopped at what looked like a good spot at the base of a small mountain, got out and began hiking up the mountain. The hike up took about three hours and when we got to the top we could see for what seemed like forever and the tops of all of the other mountains looked to be rippling in the sun.
There I saw my entire life up to that point in amazing detail. It was as if all of the experiences I had ever had were with me there at that moment. I also felt that I could see the rest of my life in the same detail. For a moment it seemed as if I was standing there with all of the past mes and all of the future mes and we were just sharing notes on things.
It was a long period of utter clarity and understanding of everything.
When it came time to hike back down (which was after I have no idea how long on top of that mountain), it was as if the trip was ending along with the climb. It made it seem as if the entire experience had been triggered by climbing the mountain, like it was Mount Olympus or something.
I kept thinking to myself the whole time "I've always known this. I've always known this."
It was the most amazing experience.
