This is just plain non-sense.
If you know a little physics you can understand why this won't work. Newton's third law of physics say that "Every action has an opposite reaction."
Here is what will happen: When you jump, you will push yourself up and also the Earth down. This may have some impact on the orbit of earth. But when you are falling towards the Earth back, Earth is pulling you down(gravity) and you are also pulling Earth up toward you by an equal force.
In the end you may achieve a very small change in Earth location while you all 600 million people are on the air. However when you all come down nothing will have been changed.

In order for this to work, somehow you should jump so high that you escape from Earth's gravity and you don't fall back. Well then you will be dead in the emptiness of space, and I think it wouldn't matter if Earth changed its orbit or not...
