C-Realm Podcast

I started listening to KMO's podcast after seeing it here on the board somewhere. I emailed KMO to ask him who did the theme music for his show and he promptly replied. So, by way of thanking him, I suggested that he contact Steve Alten who just authored the Peak Oil novel, "The Shell Game". Lo and behold, he got Alten on the show and gave me credit at the beginning of the podcast.

Actually, I hated the book and panned it here(see the comments section).

But everyone else who reads it seems to commend the book so... who knows? I can identify good writing and bad, I think. But I'll stop damning the book.

Way to go Carhole. I have listened to the C-Realm and rank it near the very top of all podcasts.
KMO is a real inspiration, and he is really onto something with the connections between peak oil and expanding consciousness.
Learning about peak oil forced me to reevaluate all aspects of my life. Who are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going? The more I reexamined things, the more I realized that my concept of "myself" was essentially just a basket of beliefs and viewpoints that had been handed to me since birth. And very few of these viewpoints and beliefs were able to withstand much scrutiny. Examing Peak oil has led to a spiritual awakening of a sorts.
Basically, the following three terms are all accurate in describing what I have gone through since learning about Peak Oil.
Nervous Breakdown - This is how my friends and family see it. I've lost it, flipped my lid, gone off the deep end. (They say this as they sit zombified watching Wheel of Fortune or Fox News.)
Spiritual Awakening - Learning about why we humans crave these material goods produced from oil. Learning about the ego and the difference between my ego and myself (Thank you Eckhart Tolle). As Peace Pilgrim said, "If you knew the power of your thoughts, you would never have another negative thought again."
Cutting Through The Matrix - Learning about the powers who are in true control and how they have been in control for a long, long time and what their ultimate goals are (Thank you Jordan Maxwell, Michael Tsarion, William Cooper)
