Misallocation of Resources

I thought I would start this so we could post examples.

Here's mine for the day posted as breaking news on the Fox News website.

You're completely missing the idea. It's not this news story on Fox, it's Fox itself that's the real misallocation of resources.

Look at the date I joined this forum. Do you think I might have a clue about FOX News? I care not of the source on this issue. Just post examples!

Space exploration... any example. I think we can give up on the fantasy of colonizing other planets. The nearest know earth-like planet is 6 light years away. It would take millions of years to reach it... it's pointless even trying.

How long has JD been a member? Does that mean he's one of the wisest of us? I don't see what the join date has to do with anything.

I was simply pointing out that you're using Fox as a source when you could have mentioned them as an example as well.

we can make a quiz about this... some should be "obvious to us":

Sending millions of people to university, when the vast bulk of them will get almost nothing out of it, and will end up working in jobs that really don't require any university education.
