I heard that shit is bad for you anyway. What will happen when the masses can't get their fix of Coke or Pepsi?

£3.79 here for a 12 pack of pepsi, i assume coke is about the same. Thats $7.54. You Americans don't half complain, petrol under 50p a litre as well! I wonder if its more profitable to smuggle petroleum or coca cola from America.

They don't even sell 12 packs here.

They sell 6-packs and 20/24 packs, but not 12-packs.

It's usually cheaper to buy bottles anyway.

just noticed my PPV satellite movies went from $3.99 to $4.99, they're not messin' around, no incremental increase of .25 or .50 cents, straight to the sawbuck. I've rented my last PPV movie.

Coke doesn't taste good, and all kinds of meat, and a lot of other stuff that other people say tastes great... I'm also having less and less apetite for food, and have the idea that people eat too much... kind of like because they're used to eating too damn much. This is fine for my health, because I've ~10 kg to lose to be on the healthiest weight range.

You're just all over the place, zensui. On one hand you want to die off, on the other you're concerned about being healthy...

Noticed that anti freeze went up to over $8 a gallon. I hadn't been in a store for quite a while, and also noticed that windshield washer fluid--the blue stuff--went from $1 or $1.29 to $1.95, too. I remember that back in the mid 70s that antifreeze was something that increased in price and never got cheap again.

I guess you can get Coke in some parts of the world like taht. If'n I can find a Coke replacement with Pure Cane Sugar, I'll buy it. Don't think Dublin Dr Pepper is available here.

I just checked out their web site. Looks like I'll be ordering some of this stuff.

Mexican Coke (bottled in Monterrey, NL) has sugar in it, and I think it's being imported into some grocery stores here in the U.S., including the Texas chain HEB.

Costco sells it at some locations:

Also, they make a Passover Coca-Cola, sold mainly in the NE, also made with cane sugar, denoted with a yellow cap like below (note the U-P symbol):

It's not; I've never really liked carbonated water - bad experience with Perrier back when I was 10-11. I do like San Pellegrino much better than Perrier, though.
