I'm just teasing.

No hard feelings, I hope.

I was assuming you didn't buy in heavily because your location is still "Arlington, VA" instead of:

Sure, if you would rather be there than Arlingon  I bet their transit system sucks...

I didn't buy in, just messin around. Actually I don't believe the price was ever $2. It dipped slightly below 3 and then traded close to 5 most of the day of the offer. Now it's over 10.

Bear Sterns's CEO's $60 million parachute

How do I get $60 million from government bailouts? Are all humans born to sacrifice all free will for their leaders or just Americans?

Just think, before BS went belly up that guy had over $700 million in shares. Take some comfort in the fact he lost $640million. :)

A catastrophy indeed that our fearless leaders have to settle for $60 million instead of $700 million.

I'd be happier if he lost $699,999,998 and was also dumped into a barrel of tar and rolled onto a blanket of feathers. :)

At least he will have more time to play contract bridge now.

I'm crying in sympathy. I don't think even $1 million will pass through my hands during my lifetime.

I think some sympathy is in order, He will probably be 'shunned' by all the other scumbags who cashed out early and his trophy wife (just making this part up) will probably divorce him for not being able to maintain the 'lifestyle' she was accustomed to.

I haven't seen any offers to retain him like the 'countryside' douchebag got from BOA, so he must be a real loser! Must be tough - One day you are a billionare, next day only a lowly millionare. Do you think he knows how to grow food?

Oh, it will.
5 years from now on you will buy a box of matches for it.
