Hillary has been chosen as the demo rep , she was annointed the front runner as soon as she announced . Why? Because she will be a better conservative repub than any of the candidates on the official republican ticket . Ron Paul would have been chosen if it weren't for his anti-war stance , The milit.-indust. complex doesn't want to hear no more war , GE owns NBC remember.Hillaries been bought and sold and she will win the election , (unless Bush resigns for health reasons and Cheney suspends elections after another terrorist attack ) , Everyone is going to vote Hillary , demo's because they will not want another repub , conservatives and independants because they don't want another Bush.

Plantain you are so transparent , do you really think your trifling efforts here are going to convince anyone they should start carrying the Nader flag? Is this some sort of half-assed attempt to get Nader to pull votes from Hillary in 2008? Your not going to effect the outcome posting this stuff on PO in any way. Or do you already know that and your just following orders from higher up?

Yeah Holmes , we need to line 'em all up and bust a hydro-shock cap in their head , that'll learn 'em

Whatever happens and whoever is elected, I can assure you will be someone who will keep things going as they are.

I don't think that votes are actually even counted anymore. I am pretty certain that 80 million people could vote for Ron Paul and he would still lose and barely show up in the ballot.

We don't have a representive government, we have a shut the fuckup and play along government.

If Nader was halfway serious he'd run as a 3d party candidaate for Congress in a district where he had a tolerable chance of winning, and then he'd build some track record and reputation for doing something concrete.

But no.

It's thanks to Nader as much as thanks to rigged voting machines and rioters in business suits storming a county elections office, that we can look back on the past 7 years as the beginning of the end of America as a world political and economic power.

9/11 changed everything.

Major combat operations have ended.

Heck of a job, Brownie.

The Ownership Society.

Thanks a s---load, Ralphie.

If only Kerry had dropped out of the race we would have elected Nader instead of Bush. :x

I wonder why Ralph Nader doesn't pick up on the Peak Oil thing and start shouting about the cataclysm that awaits all humanity?

He could really make some waves.

Maybe because doom isn't his thing?

Ralph's always been about corporate accountability and fraud more than anything. Tho' I suppose resource depletion issues could be spun from that particular angle with a little work...

It would be nice if Nader or Obama or Clinton or McCain or anybody at all running for president mentioned energy issues.

Its astonishing that gas prices and energy supply issues are never discussed.
