$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Narz', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ANewHuman', 'A')nd yes people with genetic defects which make them weak in the mind/body are humorous to me and also annoying, your ilk shouldn't be using my resources.

"Your" resources?

And who said anything about weak?

We've all got weaknesses, some of us just have strengths to compensate (I certainly do, which is why I'm not afraid to admit my weaknesses).

I've found people who feel the need to laugh at those w/ obvious weaknesses (fat people, those they deem ignorant, poor people, etc.) generally fear their own (& thus don't really do anything about them).

And you still haven't answered my last question.

You've "found" people have you, what with your hermit personality you've had lots of life experience with lots of different people eh? Imagine me making some weird noise as I disregard your opinion on this matter.

Your last question is important I take it, my motivation..... I guess when I see pretenders to the throne like Matt I take pleasure in making them my jester. Is this analogy decent enough for you?

I appreciate Matt too though I find him to be a bit prickly and argumentative. He sounds like a lawyer or something. But still, he has accomplished much and so kudos to him. And like him, I'm not going to post here anymore.

Matt, stay here if you have the time. If it's PMS pissing you off, he annoys everyone, talk about an anchor hanging around this site's neck.....

Since PreMenstrual thinks he's so smart, there's an effort afoot to keep him busy working on the 4-color theorem so maybe he'll leave us alone.

Feh.

Meanwhile, even though I'll never stop bitching about your spelling, I admire your setting up a site, forums, having stuff to sell (rather buy from you than from Amazon etc) and keeping the ball rolling. Your site is a daily 8) must.

Hey, eastbay calls me his only friend. So I think you overstate your case, creep. Not only that, but UE says I'm sweet, smart and sexy. So you can just keep dumpster diving at your all-white McDonalds and STFU.

PMS. There's no such thing as an all-White McDonalds, except for the one in Helsinki.

As my only friend here I want to be sure you make no errors. I'll be watching out for you.

Thanks, pal. You're swell, but I don't think I want to smell your stinky socks. Now if we can just get plants to lighten up a bit...

Sometimes we have to get a bit creative in our ongoing efforts to calm the angry among us. Have you considered sending him a small gift? It might work and would cost you very little.

I was thinking maybe one of those red fabric bands for the upper arm, you know, the ones with the crooked black design on them? $5.00 shipping included. Might give it a try. He would probably stop following you around hitting you with that plastic stick.

Hmmm, interesting thread....

Throughout Matt's ramblings across the internet I have seen a consistant theme which is basically an attempt to scare people.

Well this worked for a while. Also he went full-on for a 'Peak Oil' theme which also worked, for a while.

As these little stories run out of steam there was basically nothing left in the bag. He had nothing to offer people, there was no 'politics' behind Matt that was capable of convincing people that there was anything good about the future, other than to indulge us further in his own paranoia.

But now there are no more heads left to fuck-up. So I say good riddence.

Good-bye Matt (grin).

Hey, I liked your book.

The reason you are not rich is you are possibly honest. This is a liability for any lawyer, but it does happen. Anyway, maybe you will be converted and become a doomer...

JP, I don't think that Matt is consciously trying to "scare people." I remember once seeing Heinberg in a peak oil video break out into a subtle grin as he was delivering some dire news. There is an element of schadenfreud in the background for many peakniks. It will no doubt evaporate as the troubles mount because this is going to suck for all of us.

Site traffic at LATOC is higher than ever. Based on page views of both the parent site and the LATOC forum combined, it is the most popular PO site on the net. I'm not saying that to brag - although I'm sure many will interpret it that way - but to refute your implied assertion that readership is declining.

Quite frankly, you sound like you may be suffering from "angry beta syndrome." The primary symptom of which is anger and resentment towards anybody who is actually doing something productive and worthwhile with themselves.

I could be wrong of course. It could be chromosome damage or genetic defects you're dealing with. Either way, best of luck to you dealing with these challenges.
