$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A')nd as we all know, Iran does not have nuclear weapons, nor are they building nuclear weapons.

Are you sure?

Have you considered Warlords?

We got more threatening mail today

Somebody clue me in. What on earth has that letter to do with Iranian nuclear weapons?

I think it's in reference to the gap between what's commonly reported in the media and what's actually going on. That letter specifically applies to a former employee of the NSA and his suit against them for wrongful termination, which he believes was a result of criticizing the NSA's cryptographic deficiencies.

Perhaps those deficiencies don't exist, just like Iranian nuclear weapons don't exist. I'm not saying either or in either case, just that we don't know unless we are privy to some specific and likely information.

Yeah, I did some googling on the letter. Seems that these guys have been repeatedly filling one after another unsuccessful lawsuit since 1998 regarding some pissing match with NSA over rights to cryptology tech. This seemed to me the most relevant of what turned up: $this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('US District Court Judge', 'T')he judge in Lapin v. United States referred to a study showing that “a single hour spent by a federal judge on a case costs the taxpayers approximately six hundred dollars.” He determined the amount of judge time spent dealing with plaintiffs frivolous filings, assigning $600 to in-court time and $200 to out-of court time, and came to the total sanction of over $28,000. If that method were used in this case, Plaintiffs’ sanction would likely amount to well over $100,000.

Given that, a $10,000 fine seems rather lenient.

Sure don't see how that's related to Iran having nukes.

Ahh...so you're Payne. Very nice. So you want to give me the cliff notes version? Those links make about as much sense as one of Dukey's youtube videos.

I'm trying to say that your attempts at mysterious inuendo aren't dapper. In fact they're relatively annoying. If you've got something to say, it would be nice if you said it rather than linking to 20 pages of pictures of return receipt envelopes.

About all I've gotten from your links so far is that you send a lot of registered mail and get off on wasting tax payer dollars in federal court. If there's more, please clue me in.

Bill P, Why don't you start a separate thread and describe in less than 800 words, (preferably less than 400) the nature of the problem with NSA and why it should be important to the general public. Please limit insider jargon, as I won't understand it.

I'm guessing prosefights.org is his own site. Or "their" own site since he seems to keep referring to himself in the plural.

But is it as cool as www.joysoup.net ?? Be honest now!

I think billP is bill payne, and I remember this fight with the NSA or whatever it is he's fighting with, on here in years past.

He just needs a cooler site. Joy Soup is the gold standard. First, it starts out, well, joyful. Then there's soup. Who doesn't like soup? And finally, it's full of foilhead goodness. You could eat it with a fork! But use a spoon to get every drop.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')here's a distinction between terrorism and retaliation.

Let's try to explain to FBI terrorism expert Wayne Gilbert and the FBI.

Retaliation - what we did to us and what they may to do to us.

We are into legal retaliation.

For money, of course.

We didn't get promised FBI documents this weekend.

Let's ask Gilbert how to get the FBI to do its job.

Bill - This appears to be a relatively routine request of NSA sent to NSA under my name but, as indicated by the initials preceeding my typed name, it was signed out by a subordinate supervisor in the Internal Security Section of my Division who had authority to intial off on this type of document. This would be indicated by placing my initials (WG) slash and then his initials. His name would have been at the red dot and was properly redacted from the memo. This is just one of hundreds if not thousands of memos sent interagency under my name during my two years as Assistant Director, Intelligence Division. I personally have no knowledge of this case and it would not have been staffed up to my level based on the information in this declassified memo. Any additional action called for would have depended upon NSA's review results. Sorry I couldn't have been of more assistance.

Hi Bill

Wow, I started on gotstarteed link and it is an eye opener. Tough fight :-(

If I recall correctly, the Iranians took all the shredded communication after overtaking the US Tehran embassy in the '80 ( don't recall the date) and slowly started to piece them together. The result is available somewhere on the Web !!! This sure gave them a window on things !!!

This is good
