Today Radioheads album "In Rainbows" hit no one in the UK album charts, after having giving it away for whatever you wanted to pay online. I was just checking out there webpage today and noticed a near the top on the left hand side links column....

As they say, we don't live in the Information Age, or even the Oil Age. We all have to eat. We live in the Agriculture Age.

No alarms and no suprises there really, alot of there songs have had references to enviromental catastrophy and peak oil. Just on the day they top the charts they are advertising peak oil amoung other bits and pieces.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') don't want to be your friend
I just want to be your lover
No matter how it ends
No matter how it starts

Forget about your house of cards
And I'll do mine
Forget about your house of cards
And I'll do mine

Fall off the table,
Get swept under
Denial, denial

The infrastructure will collapse
Voltage spikes

Throw your keys in the bowl

Kiss your husband goodnight

Forget about your house of cards
And I'll do mine
Forget about your house of cards
And I'll do mine

Fall off the table,
And get swept under

Denial, denial
Denial, denial
Your ears should be burning

Denial, denial
Your ears should be burning
Denial, denial

Edging towards doomer porn really.

Great band. I think they've been PO-aware for years now, check out some of the videos of them on YouTube. I think they've been aware of how doomed our way of life is.

I like their "busking" approach to sales, I've not downloaded the album but if I do I'd at least want to give 'em a dollar or something.

One thing I've always liked about Radiohead is that they release their albums on vinyl LP. It shows that they're really into music, and respect those who appreciate good music. I don't have "In Rainbows" yet, since it costs $80, but if it's anything like "OK Computer" it will sound great on vinyl.
