Doing some sun salutations with my yoga family after chanting vedic hymns to the divine mystery...

That and elk hunting out near the coast with my Ruger 30.06...

Or having sex out in the woods after picking Spring Nettles...

Or playing old time guitar and fiddle with friends

Or waking up and playing peek-a-boo at 6 AM (Mein Gott!) with my little girl...

Um, that's under the "good and good for you" catagory, really. At least 3X a week and preferably daily.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Narz', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'B')ut I don't like lubricants

A little extra virgin coconut oil is a good non-toxic alternative to regular lotions.
heh heh. You can save it up, try to be strong, rely on hookers, or a spouse. But Nature's got you by the balls. And there's not a damned thing you can do about it but wait.

Our (US) culture seems to encourage the reliance on hookers, anything, anything at all rather than start a stable family. Oh, and teenage boy-whores, never forget those, endorsed by many US politicians!

Hm. This thread seems to have focused in on sexual preferences. Let me weigh in and say I'd rather just fall asleep with a loved one in my arms than have sex any day. But it's ok. I know I am in the minority on this one.

Breaking down my own limits is what excites me. Breaking a 5.5 minute mile was probably the most exciting thing I did in high school. At age 26, learning to snowboard was exciting--especially shooting through the tree runs or landing a jump. Made me feel like a real punk.

Last summer, we healed over a 120 foot tall ship with 80 foot masts. We weren't going that fast, but it felt like we were flying.

A month ago, I ran the Seattle Marathon. That was exciting! Made me feel like Aragorn and Legolas hunting orcs.

FOR THE FUTURE:

I imagine sailing through the Northwest Passage sometime this century, not necessarily very long from now. That excites me.

I imagine standing on the deck of a ship positioned between a whale and a whaler. That thought excites me.

I imagine driving a horse-drawn cart filled with market goods down a four lane interstate devoid of cars and trucks. That thought excites me.

Yeah. Ha!

Variety of any sort - sex, people, music, food, ideas, scenery etc. Which is strange because I value stability too. Weather excites me - I recall sitting on my porch when the Isabel came through and being in a Hurricane at a bar at Nags Head, NC. Hail, thunder -pretty exciting. Walking in the misty rain either in the city or wilderness makes me feel alive.

I should reply to this thread but I don't know what to say. How about if I just say nothing? To talk about sex is to have it, goes an old French Proverb. Somehow, someway, leave me out.

Riding along exploring the unpaved back roads and looking up at a low-flying peregrine falcon. Helping out someone whose vintage station wagon (dare I say woody?) has broken down. Goofin' on people. Being goofed on(there's a gal at the local micky-D's who plays jokes on people, she got me and has got a bunch of others, that's what's great about a small town, a white gal can get a job like that and can get away with joking). Perfecting the really good homemade taco, with leftovers inside.

Pitying the poor bastard who ever tries to find me out here.... :)

I just fixed my sink with $1.29 in parts ([fade] seats & springs and washers). [/fade] That was also exciting.

Damn I love stuff like that! I fixed a friend's Eliason rear sight on his .45 using the smooth part of a drill bit, I've had some fun doing amateur gunsmithing like that.... :)

I love it when it just takes some simple piece of stuff, to fix or improve something that would be very expensive for the average person.

Or just taking a $1.29 tube of spackle and hiding all the holes in my apartment before leaving it, and having it look better than it probably has since it was new - most of the holes were not mine! And the trick to using spackle to really hide a hole is to wet your finger to smooth it down.

Singing, dancing, anywhere and anytime I please, but especially when performing (right before I'm on); singing with a group with great harmonies; walking with my dog, especially on a cold day with new snow, or at sunrise, anytime of year, watching the colors in the sky and the cloud formations; ROMANCE; a great movie in a crowded theater (love to hear people's reactions); beautiful paintings; ROAD TRIPS, especially with my kids, exploring new places; the mountains, forests and oceans; puppies, anytime.
