Funny video about green consumerism.

I guess we can simply solve all of our ecological problems by consuming green!

Ha ha! Good video. I’ve got a few (too many) ‘friends’ who are frighteningly like the satire - the kind of middle class twats who think they’ve saved the world because they’ve just bought a £200 Peruvian organic fair trade alpaca scarf.

Heh, they should have shown that at the San Francisco Green Fest.

Nice find!

Terran,

That's one perfect video! Thank you!!

It reminds me of the daily bombardment of 'green' this and 'green' that which we constantly see, hear, and read all around us here in 'sustainable' Portland. It's on tv, billboards, newspapers, bumperstickers, ... it's on almost everything including the cute green leaf symbol adorning the back of new Ford SUV's.

It can really get annoying because it's all so phoney and so few realize 'green' is all just a rediculous marketing scam.

Go Green. Gosh, that felt nice. :)

Greensumption (very tongue in cheek)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft5SSIfmeKU

This is from: http://www.ifg.org/

Has anyone else seen this site before?

Also interesting is how they are presenting our related problems as a global "Triple Crisis"...
