Peak Oil Disinformation at Car-free bike forum

Unread postby vision-master » Fri 26 Oct 2007, 11:16:19

No point in trying to educate the sheeple. I've wasted many hours posting all kinds of "warnings" backed with a bunch of data for a few years on these kind of sites. Nothing changes with these peeps. Let them fend for themselves.

Either I get:

threatened
laughed at
sensored
or banned

I've reached the point where I'm looking out for #1. Fuck em!

When the data is there for all to see there will be many more in denial than those who are able to connect the dots. Nobody wants to be around for the fall of civilization. It may not come to that, but rest assured it's going to be something very ugly and for a very long time.

Denial is and will be a powerful force confusing and frustrating efforts at mitigation.

Hey, when do I become an expert and get one of those German flags under my name? :-D
Peak oil is not an energy crisis. It is a liquid fuel crisis.

So you guys reckon the stupidity is not of Pavlovian dimensions? As in conditioning...and consequently an effect rather than a cause.

What? Starbucks coffee is delicious (and is the only coffee in my neck of the woods that is strong enough to meet my approval), and I walk past six other coffee shops on my break to get it.

An incredibly dumb comparison though... the trucks that bring food to our stores don't require gallons and gallons of Starbucks coffee for each trip.

How do you think the drivers of those trucks stay awake.

I think it's more of a Bremsstrahlung spectrum.

Peet's has much better coffee, if you can get it.

Sig heil comrade! While I understand it must be frustrating for someone to disagree with someone like you, who is always right. Soon PO will be upon us and we can feast on the brains of the living.
