What was will be again , even with the secrets of the universe being unlocked for the past couple hundred years it's funny and scary that we see a steady grip on religious fundamentalism continue if not grow stronger . It's like the ancient societies that got freaked out by eclipses and earthquakes , etc. , so they either invented ,or strengthened existing gods, in an attempt to mitigate future negative consequences of natural phenomenon . I wonder if the current resurgence or at least increased notoriety of fundamentalism is due to a world where increasing numbers of people feel powerless or simply don't understand the world in which they live?
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave
