Civil Disobedients Make Modest Flesh-to-Fuel Proposal

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '"')Without oil, at least four billion people would starve. This spiral of trouble would make the oil infrastructure utterly useless" -- unless their bodies could be turned into fuel.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A')fter noting that current energy policies will likely lead to "huge global calamities" and disrupt oil supplies, Wolff told the audience "that in the worst case scenario, the oil industry could "keep fuel flowing" by transforming the billions of people who die into oil,"

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Yeah, Bas... those 5 billion are just the low hanging fruit. It's the next one billion people will be really tough to harvest.

The EROEI is most likely inadequate, but that's never stopped us before and probably won't stop us from completing this last final energy harvest either.

I'm surprised this just made it onto the boards, I actually saw the presentation of it about 2 or 3 months ago I guess. Nonetheless, it was hilarious! The look on the faces of the guys in the audience was priceless, and I've got to admit those guys were spot-on. I've sat through a lot of business presentations and conferences, and they came across as 100% sincere and real representatives - I didn't even get the "Shepard Wolf" reference at first. I think the video is what gave them away - without the video (which was a riot) I think they would have continued on at least another few minutes before it really became obvious they were jokesters.
After fueling up their cars, Twyman says they bowed their heads and asked God for cheaper gas. There was no immediate answer, but he says other motorists joined in and the service station owner didn't run them off.

I think it's a great idea.

Of course, it will be necessary to have large areas - camps, shall we say - to gather the various donors together. In order to keep the camps clean and orderly, guards will be needed.

I'd like to volunteer. I think I could do a great job, and I'd enjoy my work. 8)

No, I'm not kidding...

Different from Soylent Green, which was a way to feed people. This would simply take those people that would not or could not be fed and have them power private jets, yachts, and private armored Humvees.

I note the tenous relationship of this article with another thread about Gruesome Jewelry.

That's funny...

When I first read the posts, I thought Jack and NEO were volunteering to serve as doners...
