The Amero Coins Pictured in the Link bear this Logo:

"These private-issue fantasy pattern coins will be struck as an annual series, starting in the latter part of 2007.

Collectors can order them at www.dc-coin.com ."

These are the same people who have been trying to sell their "Twin Towers" coins on TV since 9/11.

The silly claim was made that the "Amero" is the secret new currency of the imaginary US-Mex-Can superunion.

Its not "for real" :P

I first read this story on rense, but a few days later they said that story was a hoax.

It can't possibly be real. All of the world's major currencies have only one or two syllables. The Amero has three. Far too long to bother with. Sounds more like a special latte. Could get shortened to an Amro or even an Ammo, but that's too confusing. Imagine going to a bank to get cash - gimme a thousand rounds of ammo! Nah!

The AMERO coin is here

Unread postby Micki » Fri 07 Sep 2007, 10:06:44

Check out Hal Turners website. Hal Turner

Some weeks ago he received photos of the Amero coins from someone within treasury and publishing these he was accused of being a conspiracy theorist publishing fake images. Now he has an actual coin. Note that nice little fascia (symbol of international fascism) next to the lady.

Besides the fact that the average US and Canadian citizens are screwed big time, what impact would a North American Union have? Personally I don't see that the union as a whole would gain much except companies that can enjoy access to cheap labor.
Or perhaps the US simply needs the population of these nations before it re-introduces the draft so there are more droins to send off to war to dominate the ME or fight China?

STOP THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION

edit: Quite a nice video collection they have there yet as usual people are easily misled and I say this because of their chosen stance on climate science. It is a shame that they seem oblivious to global dimming and how it is keeping us from frying for now at least...

They would have to call the Amero something different now if it exists first as a private issue. Wouldn't there be some "trademark" issues otherwise?

What was interesting though is that the 20Amero coin for instance has a D (Eagle side, bottom right) which to my understanding is used to mark a coin as being minted at Denver Mint.

The guy who designed this has also done some real design work for several Mints.
See his page; Website

Perhaps some designers have been working on the Ameros for instance for the Denver Mint and this guy just took advantage of the fact that the Amero currently isn't copyrighted in anyway.
