Do you really think the PTB are willing to give up their comfortable life?
If you had the power and were a sociopath, would you?
Many, me included, have been unable to reconcile our government’s actions, or inaction, concerning peak oil, our bubble economy, perpetual war, etc. The list of problems we don’t seem to be addressing goes on and on. My question has always been, why! Why do we seem unable to get a grip on the myriad problems before us? This has led some to suppose that “they” just don’t get it; or, conversely, that “they” know and are ‘gettin’ theirs while the gettin’s good.’
It doesn’t matter where truth comes from; take it where you find it.
Every once in while a movie comes along that actually tells the truth. Of course, you have to know the truth to recognize the truth, but then that’s the purpose of the red pill. For example, years ago, before my own re-education, I saw the Warren Beatty film “Bulworth.” A funny, interesting movie. A year ago I bought it and watched again. The difference this time is that I know the truth and was therefore able to recognize his speech near the end, just before he’s killed, as the TRUTH. If you don’t remember it, it’s worth another look, you’ll recognize the speech I’m referring to and seeing Beatty in hip hop gear is worth the price alone.
A more recent film, “Shooter,” contains a little rant by another Beatty, Ned this time. “…there are only haves and have not’s…” is the gist of that bit of truth. He then asks, “What side do you want to be on?”
A more likely future – Civilization will survive in enclaves of wealth and power where progress is not only possible but probable. For those on the inside the consumer life goes on; life is good. For those “outside,” think the worst doomer scenario imaginable. That’s where we’re headed.
So now I’ll ask you, where do you want to be? Some will get to make the choice, most, those who’ve sold their soul to debt, will have the choice made for them. Think carefully, choosing the inside has ramifications too. To enjoy the fruits of plentiful energy, food and a consumer lifestyle, you’ll have to give up a few things you now hold dear – like truth and knowledge.
Do you really want to be plugged in again?
Who is John Galt?
