Your assuming that because the situation is getting worse world wide, the US must be the cause. I'm not sure I agree with your logic, and I defiantely agree that just because other nations haven't equaled the US's environmental laws doesn't mean that they wheren't worth doing.
No, I am not just talking about the US. Environmental laws have been enacted worldwide that have made things better than they would be without them.
