Pstarr , all you need for that is a good friend with a long finger, or one of those old-fashioned tea spoons , you know , the real long thin ones :-x . A couple years ago I found an old game in my kids toy box .It was a little plastic thing with a cardboard surface with holes inside, also in it was a little ball of mercury that you had to get in the holes, made in china. That was dangerous,I could just see a little kid breaking this toy and tasting the silver ball inside.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jboogy', 'S')eriousely I have read a lot about this when I was researching lazer vision correction, the anectodal evidence was convincing both pro and con! Is mercury good for you ? Of course not, it's extremely toxic.Last year I had a mercury filling removed that a small cavity had developed under.I had it replaced with white , BIG MISTAKE ! Do you wanna talk about cold and heat sensitivity? After two days of intense pain I demanded that my dentist see me and fix it.He drilled out the white and put in mercury and all's been well since.I'll deal with the slow poisoning.

Metals are much better conductors than composites, and I've had less sensitivity after my amalgam removals. Maybe your dentist just messed up the first replacement which caused your tooth pain. I did a lot of research before choosing my dentist, and settled for nothing less than speaking directly to the dentist about their protocols, wasn't an easy in Manhattan where I usually couldn't get past an uninformed receptionist or assistant on the phone.

What are we talking about here? We might be eating our neighbors in less then 10 years and we are worrying about some mercury poisoning? The coal plant down the block is probably doing as much damage. I've had most of mine removed (not because of mercury) because i've had cavities in cavities (bad teeth). I now have the white fillings mostly and they are SUPER sensitive. I have one that is a month old and i still can chew or drink on that side because its so sensitive. I really wouldn't worry unless you have millions of dollars and need to live until your 110. If i get over 60 years of age, i'll be happy.

That happened to me with my first removal dentist, she didn't polish the composite down enough to fit my bite so it was very painful for the first few weeks, when I realized it wasn't going away I went back and she fixed it in less than a minute. Could be the problem you're having.

My energy levels and immune system are orders above what they were before I got rid of this "little" mercury poisoning. A friend of mine at the dojo, with about 10 amalgams, gets sick almost every other month, keeps telling me its all the kids that come in sick that he catches his illnesses from. I showed him the ioamt video in this thread months ago but he refuses to put the two together.

Mercury discovered in corn syrup

Unread postby wisconsin_cur » Tue 27 Jan 2009, 08:41:12

Star Tribune
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') test of popular processed foods from some of the biggest names in the industry found trace amounts of mercury, according to the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, a nonprofit group based in Minneapolis.
The amounts of mercury found was far less than that commonly seen in most fish and seafood, but turned up in many foods not previously known to be sources of mercury, including many preferred by children, the group said. It includes Nutri-Grain Strawberry Cereal Bars, Quaker Oatmeal to go bars, Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, Yoplait Strawberry yogurt, Market Pantry Grape Jelly and Coca-Cola, it said.

There is everything in anything. I wonder do people in America have any science classes in any school at any level?

Exactly. People complain about the things that are giving them (or their kids) problems.

The health effects from methyl mercury upon infants and children depend on the dose. Severe symptoms start with exposure to doses of 100 mcg/kg/day, mild symptoms with more than 10 mcg/kg/day, and sub-clinical symptoms with less than 1 mcg/kg/day. Symptoms include late development in walking and talking and decreased performance on neurological tests.

Before women get pregant they should remove any amalgams, do heavy metals chelation, and eat organic foods. Heavy metals in their body will get passed on to the fetus. Mercury is lipophilic, meaning that it concentrates in fatty tissues, especially in the brain, which is made mostly of fat. It also gets stored in the breast milk and other fatty tissues.

Personally, I think there is no better example to use to convince people to stop eating processed foods than the reality this article illustrates: Corn syrup is made in a big vat of boiling mercury.

Unfortunately, Anchorwoman probably failed to emphasize this point. But lets face it, these "journalists" are a bunch of idiots- as are most of the audience.

Consider a story about how some food that most people eat gives them brain damage. Said brain damage hardly predisposes them to understand the ramifications of the same.

Old folks call this a "conundrum".
