Yes, its insanely ridiculous that it takes 3x as much energy to move a 6000 pound SUV than a 2000 pound subcompact sedan.

Occasionally, I'll meet people online and in person that give me hope that we'll get through this crisis ok. My neighbor, the gun totin' conservative Iraq vet who is angry that we're not doing anything about global warming is a good example.

The guy mentioned above, however, shows me that not only are many people stupid, they are willfully and criminally stupid. Ugh.
