This is a thing that needs correction. When I was a kid in the 1970's I could walk down the sidewalk and into the store to purchase an Icee with my pellet rifle slung over my back and not raise even an eyebrow.
The way we fight this is to put guns MORE out into the public eye. On family trips I am seriously going to start mounting my fully loaded AR15 in a gun rack in the window of my Honda CR-V.
I HOPE someone calls the cops. Of all gunophobes, the police most need to be reminded of the fact that it is perfectly legal to keep your rifles in your vehicle window.
