I went there about 12 hours ago. The site did not display. Instead a download dialog window popped up and asked me if I wanted to download a file. I thought it could be a virus and canceled out. Now the site is up and working.

Hi Andi, Glad to see you here. I follow GPM regularly.

One request I have for Global Public Media. I'm on a modem (not broadband) and I cannot watch the videos. Would it be possible to make audio versions of the presentations too?

Usually the video only consists of a talking head, so one wouldn't be missing much.

I know, I know, the answer for me is to get broadband. But I also think it would be wise to have low-speed versions of the presentations available as well, for these reasons:

1. If only high-speed versions are available, your audience is greatly limited.

2. Need to get the message out to people beyond the high-tech elite, to countries and populations without high-speed infrastructure.

3. Given the message of PO, that disruptions may be possible to the infrastructure, wouldn't it make sense to have a version that could be used if the network is in a degraded condition?

Thanks to GPM for the great service it provides.
