There seems to be a "connect" with the 'Merkin public between the war and gas prices too - support the war, and gas stays affordable, seems to be the equation. Or, My son/daughter enlisted and is Over There killing ragheads, how come gas is still so expensive?

Bush had a 90% approval rating in October of 2001, doesn't mean everyone loved him. They were just shocked by 9/11.

That 70% poll number was from September, 2003 right after the war "ended".

The % of the voting public that believes Saddam was behind 9/11 drops every year. It's down to about 46% according to a 2006 poll.

You don't need to rig an election if you can just dumb down the public with Infotainment and sub par public schools.
