The Standard:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')his might sound unpalatable, even harsh, but it is a fact. Ever since Nina Bang (Danish Minister of Education 1924-26) became the world’s first female Cabinet minister, democracy has been hostile to women with ambition for higher political office.

Instead, the best ally for such women has been dictatorship, bloodshed and conflict! This is the message driven powerfully home once more by the recent presidential elections in France. First world, stable and democratic France gave the nod to Mr Nicolas Sarkozy in the presidential elections run-off last weekend instead of the female candidate Segolene Royale.

Very interesting piecing together of women in power and the systems of government in which they arise to power. Doesn't really give an explanation why, just a listing of women that have come to power through or by bloodshed, war, tragedy, etc.

So since we're headed for unprecendented upheaval, who will be the first in the US? (Assuming Hillary and Condi don't win nor any other woman for the next couple of elections)

Bow before my greatness you weaklings.

Of a thousand burning bridges
Sifting through the ashes every day
What we thought would never end
Now is nothing more than a memory
The way things were before
I lost my way" - OCMS

Hillary Clinton seems to have the inside track.

She's smart, has lots of money, a friendly media, and a brand name.

We're gonna have a nuckyular war, H5N1, Yellowstone supervolcanos, Cat 7 hypercaines, any of that other shit from the Discovery Channel that could happen tommorrow like giant tsunamis from that landslide in the canary islands, methane megafarts from the oceans, Greenland and West Antarctica will melt, zombies will attack, turrist attacks all over 'murika will happen and when all is said and done: a glock-wielding heroine who just so happens to have practical medical knowledge will lead us from the darkness. So yeah, you better get on smallpoxgirl's good side.

Of course, purcatty or mercurygirl might stage a coup so you never know

I think Condoleezza Rice may do well, but I hope she starts speaking truthfully, maybe gets some good advisors and gets out of the George Bush cabal.

She is brainy and I think attractive too, but most don't agree with me on the beauty part.

Also, she has a good genetic combination to meet affirmative action goals for the government.

Are you fucking kidding me? Condo Rice is attractive to you? You have low standards. She looks like the Crypt-Keeper in drag.

I'm not a yank, but Hilary Clinton seems a bitch to me. Very conceited, control-freakish, obnoxious. But I guess Thatcher wasn't exactly Miss perfect.

I don't know whether any fellow Brits share this view?

What are her policies? All I know is she's a lefty socially, and most likely a right winger economically???

Like Blair...

Hey Chris,
seems like you are new here :p It doesn't matter almost who gets into power, they all work for the same people, the international bankers. The bankers have nearly entirely corrupted politics, this includes Blair, Brown, Bush .. and in many many other countries. They are working to build this

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')rown wants a 'new world order'
