$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('holmes', 'T')he power of attraction does work, bro. I prove it all the time. after watching the secret at my ex girlfriends house I began to experiment with the power. I envisioned what I truly wanted. I started with what kind of woman I TRULY wanted. My girfriend at the time I felt was not the one for me and was stifling my creativity and was also destroying my outdoor culture and lifstyle. Destroying who I was. So I envisoined what I wanted and then acted as if I actually had that perfect woman. Within weeks I met a beautiful artist sweetheart that was a outdoor enthusiest. She actually invited me on a run up manastash ridge! Fucking kindred soul. What a sweety darling! My lord. Then I met a phenomenal ex model tom girl 140+ IQ hottie that would burn the balls off a bull. I mean smoking passionate romantic drop dead gorgeous loves guns and savage sex. I mean these two girls are my dream girls. Hot.
You see before this I was just meeting ho hum mediocre. Coincidence or truly power of attraction? Im betting there is something to it. It also helps that I am an outgoing stud that is charming warm and loving and passionate. I exude fun and energy. What can I say I love living. I love woman. I love the power of having the power to determine my own fate as much as possible in this oil induced stupor.

As for "The Secret", its' really no secret at all. It's a matter of seeing things in a positive light rather than negative, and focusing your energy on positive changes. Without having seen the DVD or read the book, I think there's a misunderstanding between using positive thinking to shape positive action versus the idea of just "wishing it all were true".
Example: "I would like to work with endangered tigers". Well, I can think positively: "There's lots of work out there to be done", and then formulate a plan for doing it: "OK, I need to finish this 4 year degree, internship for free with World Wildlife Fund, etc". No guarantees for success, but I guarantee that success is a lot more likely than if you think negatively: "No one's ever going to hire me to do that kind of work" or "What's the point of going to school, a thousand other people are trying to do the same work - what a waste".
My take on it, from what little I've seen/heard, is simply the idea that life can (reasonably) be what you make of it. Of course bad things can happen to you along the way, but you deal with it and you continue on.
After fueling up their cars, Twyman says they bowed their heads and asked God for cheaper gas. There was no immediate answer, but he says other motorists joined in and the service station owner didn't run them off.
