Let me say that this thread does not past the smell test.

The guy makes two posts, one with a crazy whack job interview and then makes another with many more links on it.

Even if this individual is not trying to be deceptive, the guy is not really contributing to the forum.

It is like he walked into a field with a bunch of hunting dogs and then let loose a bag of rabbits.

If you can connect the dots and see the bigger picture everything makes sense, I do believe peak oil is already here, its just another facet of the problems ahead.

At this point in time everything is on the edge. One trigger event and the whole house of cards will come down.

I wonder what that trigger event maybe? So called Terrorist attack perhaps? Would that then give them the green light with Iran? Which in turn would start up a war full scale war in the middle east, then escalating to global conflict?

Lets see what happens the rest of this year as it seems we are on the edge of 'business as usual'.

I'm from the UK so I don't know how things will play out here, but we live in interesting times.

Yup the guy in my opinion is just an opportunistic liar, a good used car salesmen.

PO is verifiable and real and it can be shown to have happened in the past before. Getting off on talking about aliens leads you down the primrose path.

And I couldn't agree more about GW. It is also being used by the power elites to take control as PO leads us into chaos.

The world elites in countries around the world know what is coming down.

What is most important to them is that they stay in control and manage the worlds populations as we start contracting and dying off.

As for the UFO stuff. There are UFOs. Nasa has tonnes of footage of them. UFO just means they dont know what it is. It doesn't necessarily prove extraterrestrial life.

Peak oilers are probably more intelligent than most of the percieved crackpots because we had to learn at least math to believe in it, and we have to be at least smart enough to doubt the bigboys. And we realize, no matter what the spin, math doesn't lie. We are not loons and we don't get taken with enquirer stories, they are a waste of precious time. In short peak oil is real,and it is the defining problem of the 21st (last) century.

I only saw the first half before I had enough of it. The story about rejecting the higher powers is designed to breed hatred in a power that doesn't really exist and at the same time make you sympathize with him for having his daughter insulted. These manipulative type of guys know when they have a sucker and will push things as far as they can. It sounds like he covered pretty much every fear people have about the government short of Bush being a lizard. No matter who pays his bills this guy is a conman.

OK, so why even waste time debating whether you can take an obvious nutter seriously?

I could walk down Telegraph Ave in Berkeley with a tape recorder and come up with plenty of the same kind of stuff. That place is a psychiatric petting-zoo and you rapidly become familiar with all of the different types of nutcases spouting their nonsense.

You may as well try to make sense of the lyrics of some of the acid-addled music of the 1960s. Yeah you can spend a lot of time doing that if you choose. Or trying to find horsies and castles and Santa Claus in the clouds.
