Proof of intelligent life existing elsewhere in the Universe. Love to see the effect on mankind.

do you remember when you were in high school, seldom_seen? I sure do. Nature does it's thing. the girls were angels, nirvanna. I recall hitting too heavy and being rejected. Then an Ecuadorian angel answered my prayers...

C-beams glittering at the Tennhauser Gate, of course.

And maybe attack ships in fire off the shoulder of Orion.
What will arrive first? Peak Oil or the Second Coming? My money is now on the latter.

Well I would like to see the North Pole, but it seems I have to hurry, cause it probably will be gone before I am.

I would like to see the child I tried to adopt grown into a mature adult living in a peaceful world. Sadly I don't think that has much chance of happening.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days

One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Full manifestation of all five elements through the veil.

The prism of water spraying up from the bow of an air craft carrier.

The inside of a backhole and the effects of its gravitational mass expressed as 'n' to 9th degree.

To see the face of God,

That's only if I was going to die shortly after (to see the face of God would kill you from the radiation, Moses got an unearthly radioactive glow after speaking to God, and it was probably only through divine intervention that he didn't die).

I would like to see his face, because I am unsure of whether I'm going to Hell or not. The road to heaven seems pretty narrow.

If I have alot of time, and I mean alot of time before I die, I'd like to see my future, and the winning lotto numbers.

I've always wanted to see San Francisco - just a romantic notion, I suppose. For those who've been there, is it worth the trip?

More than that, though, I'd like to see my 3 kids in mid-adulthood living in a healthy environment, doing work that pleases their souls and surrounded by people they love. Is that too much to ask?

Absolutely. One of the great cities of the world.

Anything huh?

First I'd need to steal some sort of ET corvette. Something small and very fast. It would need to have some sort of inertial damping so the extreme accelerations it was capable of wouldn't kill me.

First I'd want to see the Earth from space, LEO (low earth orbit). I'd spend some time, hours, days perhaps, looking at this globe from space.

Then I'd want to visit the other planets in this solar system. Venus and Mercury are boring so I'd skip them, but Mars, Jupiter (especially), Saturn and Uranus would be awesome. Of course my Corvette would be capable of quickly reaching relativistic speeds (no fake star trek warp drive), so it would only take me a few minutes to hours to reach these other globes. Nothing slow and pathetic like the probes we've sent to these planets thus far, which have taken years to reach them.

For some reason Jupiter fascinates me. I've seen it many times, both naked eye and through the eyepiece. Immense. I'd like to be able to skim the outer reaches of its enormous atmosphere as well as see it's awesome auroral displays (dark side, of course). I'd need the 'Vettes inertial damping at this point as I don't think I could handle 10 g's otherwise (jupiters gravity).

These are my modest desires in this department.

Nothing much on the surface of this hard and heavy world that I really want to see anymore.. it's a matter of perspective that I crave.
