Oil is currently at a 17 month low and what is a doomer to do? Is CERA correct that the untapped trillions await our greedy SUVs? Have I been wrong all along in believing in peak oil? Oh no!!!

Well, stepping back from the picture it is clear that we are in a period of decline. We are down 675,000 barrels a day from the high of Dec. 2005. Already projections show demand exceeding supply for 2007. The Megaprojects update forecasts an unbridgeable supply demand gap opening up after 2007.

Don't lose faith doomers for together we are strong! There is doom on the horizon and we need only wait until January or so to see oil prices headed back up. Don't let this current good news get you down. In the end it will be civil anarchy and people living off cats and dogs! Keep the faith!!!

I see an engineered economic slowdown precipitated by the reality of peak oil.

Cera is not telling the whole tale (mega understatement) and most of us here know it.

3.7 tb yeah right....this is why they do not like the concept of EROEI.

There has to be a slow down. How else do you keep the markets from investing in alt energy at a time when it would make sense. Wind and solar are gong to get shafted in favor of ethanol because ethanol in the end is just holding oil's place until it can limp back to the table.
