I say give the girl a medal. It's good for Americans to hear what the rest of the world thinks about their exploits. Here she seems like a flaming radical, but I suspect that among Lebanese she's probably pretty moderate. Americans have just completely lost touch with the rest of the world. Got to give her props for trying to educate people.

I lost my way" - OCMS

i gave her a medal. nwildmand, I've never seen any of these crushing arguments of yours, but would be interested in a link if I've missed them. If you're restorting to calling for a ban, I'd wager they aren't as crushing as you'd claim. I am however, willing to be convinced.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') wouldn't have a problem with miki if this was www.hezbollahchearleadingsquad.com. Has she ever posted anything related to peakoil/environment/energy issues?

What has happened between Israel/USA and Lebanon is part of the peakoil/environment/energy issues. If she's posting in the open forum (which is there for open topic posts) and expressing her views without verbally abusing anyone (and as far as I've seen she's been following the rules of the forum) she can post away. I also think she has come out with a fresh view point and has made many valid points, that's what a forum should be for. If anyone doesn't want to read her posts, exercise your freedom not to read them. I often do want to read her posts so I exercise my freedom to read them. If she breaks the rules of the forum the moderators should deal with it. If she doesn't break the rules of the forum, what's your problem? Miki, keep on posting.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('nazman', 'i') gave her a medal. nwildmand, I've never seen any of these crushing arguments of yours, but would be interested in a link if I've missed them.

its easy for you to say that since you swing her way nazman. every one of your posts concerning this subject you have defended her or the middle east. id put the links down but you have so few posts people dont have to waste time searching through them if they so desire.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('nazman', 'I')f you're restorting to calling for a ban, I'd wager they aren't as crushing as you'd claim.

did you read my post????

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('nwildmand', 'i') thought hard about the poll and could not come up with an honest vote so i refraned from doing so.

sure i dont like her or her opinions but i have never told here to leave or called for a ban. if we could get here on the peak oil bandwagon, with her spunk, she would become a good asset.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('nazman', 'I') am however, willing to be convinced.

no your not. you have shown as much onesidedness on this issue as either me or miki. i have as much chance convincing you as i do miki.

To clarify, in the context of my above post, I meant I'm willing to be convinced of your ability to make crushing arguments, if you can show me where to look.

here you go its right here

http://www.peakoil.com/author-nwildmand.html

i never said i made crushing arguments. i said i enjoy crushing her arguments. i routinely catch her lying, using propaganda and employing double standards. i just pick them out and thats why she get so mad at me.

i am not going to respond to this trolling after this. but if you want to enter the debates, ill gladly put up a fight.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Aaron', 'S')ome posts are long,
while others are short.
Some, barely worth a retort.

Posts to muddle & baffle your mind,
Others whose meaning you struggle to find.

But in the end,
As you sit in your house,
it's really nothing more,
than a scroll of your mouse.

:)

Aaron you are evolving into quite "The Cat in The Hat"

Anyways back on thread. Can't say I'd vote on any of the above options. Based on my 36 years of life observation I believe in reality Miki would receive a free ride at a local State University in engineering. Funded by tuition increases for middle class folk juggling two mortgages to put there kids through.

There, that's as neutral as I get before my second cup of coffee.

I will not respond to posters spam,
I will not read them,

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jack', 'A')t the risk of belaboring the obvious, I enjoy annoying her. It's easy to do, and she fumes and fusses so very nicely.

No, that isn't nice. But it's me. 8)

It was among the more entertaining things on the internet until I found the Red vs Blue series on youtube.

There once was a poster named Miki,
who's arguments were so very picky.
A fella named jack,
had fired right back,
With replies oh so very tricky.
Well miki's not easy to push around,
so there came a hideous sound,
of arguments here,
ad hominems there,
while the topic got beat into the ground.
In her face did nwildmand,
kick up some sand,
and make the thread very long.
Then nazman and rwwwf,
took sides soon enough,
and each said the other was wrong
the flaming made a quite fearful song.
Then some stormed off in a huff.
I'd wanted to join,
but had pulled my groin,
by laughing so hard at this stuff.
Poor Aaron most of all,
has to put up with this gall,
I'm sure he's had quite enough.

Miki is always good reading. I'm not a fun of large organised religions, especially Islam (and its related Sharia law) and certainly wouldn't shed a tear if that particular one disappeared off the face of the earth. On the other hand, I can totally understand the hatred many peoples in the middle east (and elsewhere in the world) have for the US and other western countries. If I were Palestinian, I'd be wanting Israel wiped off the map too, or if I were Saudi Arabian I'd want all those US bases off my land. As for Iran, it only makes sense Iran would want nuclear weapons. With the US invading sovereign countries with oil and basically doing whatever it wants to whoever it wants, it's only natural to acquire a deterrent.

In spite of understanding all that, I still hope 'our' side wins.

I don't think anyone should be limited in what they have to offer. If it is for space reasons, than archive the old stuff. This reminds of the time when they stuck the protesters in their own cage, very immature and very American.
