$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('mmasters', 'G')et a Gateway, they're putting out some of the best quality laptops at the moment. They got a kick ass new one too where you can swivel the screen and write on it, great for presentations! Bill Gates is currently using one.
Those are tablets, a form of a laptop. From what I've heard, they aren't worth the cost. You have to write slowly in order for the computer to pick it up. Besides, there's very few reasons to write on a computer when typing is so much faster. There are only a few applications of such: signatures, taking notes in science and math classes, etc. I have no need even if the technology develops to be able to read everything at any rate. Thanks though.
I'll look into Gateways though, it's been a while since I've even heard of them (and not on commercials).
Lighthouse, do you really need a new iBook every three years or would they last much longer?
A problem I might have with Macs is that I'd really like to have one with which I can type in foreign scripts (mainly Arabic). I'm not so sure if iBooks are Arabic-capable...
I want to put out the fires of Hell, and burn down the rewards of Paradise. They block the way to God. I do not want to worship from fear of punishment or for the promise of reward, but simply for the love of God. - Rabia
