$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Miki', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jack', 'A')mateur pop-psychology at its finest! Utterly untrue, but amusing.

So, since you seem to enjoy the amateur psychology game, perhaps I can play too. Are you merely externalizing your own dysfunctions? Perceiving symptoms in others when in fact you exhibit those same symptoms?

I am a Psychology major Jack. I've worked as a research assistant in Clinical Psychology for years, so I know quite a bit about scientific research in this area. I'm not precisely speaking pop Psych and I'm far from being an amateur in this.

Really? So would it be accurate to say you're obsessing over Lebanon?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Miki', '
')I certainly have quite a bit of limitations, but a diregard for human life, a cynical attitude, and a narcissitic attention-seeking nature are not among them.

Well, you have my sympathy. Not to worry; with practice, you, too, can develop the same cynical attitude and disregard for human life I have. You'll find it most helpful. I know I have. 8)

Not really. Normal people feel stressed when other people are suffering in front of them. It is pathological *not* to stress.

Fortunately for you, you're well away from the front. So you should be as stress free as I.

That's the problem of having a conscience. You can't freeze it temporarily. But yours is always frozen anyway.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Miki', 'N')ot to mention that no poster here has ever called me prejudiced, whereas one person clearly called you a racist bigot.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Miki', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('nwildmand', 'i') know all about that stuff. my nazi friends shove it in my face all the time when i argue for the jews.

Well, you should spend more time with your Nazi friends then

we are both bigots miki, you would never told me to hang out with nazis if you were not. i am however man enough to defend my position instead of trying to brush what i have said under the rug.

and the references to my education are getting old. you as a student of psychology should know that humiliation tactics are usually more damaging to the attacker than to the victim.

and yes statistics make me biased.

Pravda RU's update. Yes, they are a screwball tabloid. The only thing of substance here was probably that Russia would remain neutral.

Punctuation and appropriate use of capital letters actually aid communication.

Not using them makes your writing look childish, isharder to read, and you are less likely to be treated seriously.

Given that we are trying to communicate, please use the common writing conventions, they actually help.

So I'm not allowed to make sarcastic remarks anymore just because you don't have the ability to understand them? Interestingly enough, you seem to be the only one that took those remarks seriously in this forum. I hope that tells you something---It doesn't hurt to hope.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'a')nd the references to my education are getting old.

Right. I don't think I need to keep mentioning that. I think it's pretty obvious to anyone that reads your posts. You certainly don't need my help.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'y')ou as a student of psychology should know that humiliation tactics are usually more damaging to the attacker than to the victim.

First of, I'm not a student of Psychology. I'm a Psychology major and I'm in grad school now.

Second, I didn't know that I was "humiliating" you. In plain English, to humiliate you would mean to make you feel like shit. Now if I achieved that, then a few things that I said must have rung a bell for you.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'a')nd yes statistics make me biased.

May I recommend that you take a course in basic stats before attempting to use stats to support your arguments? All sarcasm aside, you really don't know much about stats or about research methodology. Every one of your posts referring to stats contains a statement that violates basic statistical or research principles.

Trust me when I say that I've gone through enough nauseating stats courses at the graduate level to know a thing or two about stats. But if you still think I'm saying this to discredit your arguments or "humiliate" you, please feel free to print your posts and show them to any of your professors in college. He/she can confirm for you that your use of stats is quite flawed.
