Nothing like concentrating on sex offenders when you have war criminals in the Whitehouse.

I think this bill is half-assed. sure its a step in the right direction but the penalties are still not stiff enough.

[quote]Repeat child sex offenders would face harsher penalties.[quote]

Why even give them a chance? there are people in prison with longer sentences for drugs. we need a one strike rule for these types of criminals.

roger could you please explain to me why a man that fucks a six year old deserves tolerance?? please explain.

please tell me roger how you "understand" pedaphelia. why are you on the rapist side?

i understand new zealand is very tolerant on many human issues and i applaud that, we have a little to learn from you. the fact is many these people rape/molest somebody, do seven years, get out and do it again only this time they kill thier victim/witness so they are less likely to to get caught. it happens several times a day in america.

are you christian rogers. dollars to diamonds say your not. its funny how people who hate america will stand up for perverts before christians or america.

oh and i was raised lutheren. we NEVER got taught tolerance.

*edit*
please forgive me if you were being sarcastic and were in general agreement. sarcasim can be lost on the net.

That move was my final straw.
I hope his daughter suffers a tragic auto accident and his paralyzed from the neck down. Bet he'd rethink his position then.

Yes, I am for punishment of *all* offenders against society.

However I do find it remarkable that you can have so much hate and wrong in the world and can only mobilize opinion when it comes to rape.

Please tell me how the actions of that one rapist is worse than the situation in the ME with indiscriminate slicing and dicing of men, women and children?

A pivotal moment, indeed. :-D Who are you throwing your support behind now? You gotta like Brownback, right? Coburn seems to be going against the grain, too. I like his stance on cutting pork and $200M bridges in Alaska. Finally, a fiscal conservative if there ever was one...

Because rape is considered an unasked for crime.
The situation in the Middle East is a simple matter really.
We hate them, they hate us. We view anything we do as retalition for what they have done and vice versa.
If one side were to put down its weapons, the other side would simply take advantage of that fact to strike. So its a stale mate, with death being the overall winner.

Dont misunderstand me emerson. My opinion of Twat had been going down for YEARS.

Even to this day though I STILL think he's better then the other options we had. If I have to choose between a kick in the nuts or a blowtorch to the balls I'll take the kick.
Doesnt mean I have to like it.

Hes made some good decisions, and some bad ones. Overall I'm not entirely impressed, but he has come through in some areas.

Time for a real third party, IMHO.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ElijahJones', 'I')t's always important to remember that we do not know the people who post here..... That why I am mazed that there is so little serious effort made at reforming the Internet.

Then you wonder why free speech is highly prized and why they bothered to add the first amendment in the first place.

I'm less concerned with who is saying bad things than who it is who gets to decide which are the bad things.

i didnt say it was. and it isint one rapist its a couple hundred thousand. the marines that killed that family so thay could rape that little little girl that was in the news should be lined up against against the same wall as all the other pervs.

i think your just pissed because "america is gonna get all the oil"
all this is really tame compared to what might happen in the middle east 10-15 years from now. ill bet that new zeeland will be sitting there with her hand out saying "wheres my oil"

So where is the Congress condeming all the violence in the ME? That's what I'm refering to, it can all come together for some things and not others.

I'll agree with the Whitehouse saying that Abu-Ghaib, the various killings of civilians etc is due to a few bad apples. Unfortunately the most rotten apples are at the top.

Now we both know that's not going to happen.
