Excellent Video narrated by Arundhati Roy

Here's an excellent video with lots of good footage, narrated by the Indian author Arundhati Roy (known for _The God of Small Things_). I've read 'God of Small Things' and Roy does have a unique and refreshing way of articulating things. She does have a way with words.

I thought it was excellent. It does stream, but it's a ~100meg file, so those of you using dial-up connections probably will not want to wait. It's a little over an hour.

This is a much more 'Fair and Balanced' view of the recent history of neo-imperialism, US and British style, in the mid-east and South America, then you're ever going to find on FAUX-news.

People like Spec who seem unable to understand Palestinian actions in middle east should watch this video. Some time is spent talking about the atrocities which occured during the creation of Israel that are seldom discussed (or acknowledged) in the US.

I'd say overall this video is how more and more of the world is coming to view the US.

Near the end of the video Roy asserts that 21st century market capitalism will likely fail for the same reason communism did in the 20th century -- it allows too much power to concentrate in the hands of an unaccountable few. And this doesn't even factor in the decline of cheap energy.
