I just saw a TV add on MSNBC for this American Petroleum Institute website: http://www.factsonfuel.org

I haven't read through it yet, but thought it might be of interest. The OilPrimer looks reasonable to me (I just skimmed it), except perhaps for some of the projections which I'm guessing are unjustified (showing spare capacity growth in next couple years). http://www.factsonfuel.org/gasoline/OilPrimer.pdf
