Annoying things about women:

Women have a tendancy to take a proper political conversation and pull it into the vortex of their subjective mundane experience. You would think the leap from a political/philosophical discussion to something completely unrelated, like talking about blueberry recipes would be impossible, but many women finesse this with a lack of social awareness that's pretty stunning. I've seen more great conversations ruined this way than I care to remember. Seeing as social insensitivity is supposedly the exclusive domain of men, I think it's worth mentioning.

Annoying things about men:

Too numerous to mention. I'll leave that up to other posters, both men and women.

Someone labelled me a mysogenist, so I just thought I'd take the opportunity to defend myself.

It's an interesting and maybe even vaguely valid observation but really, what does it have to do with anything in the context of Peak Oil. I was under the impression that this web site was for an exchange of ideas and information about Peak Oil and it's ramifiactions- if you want to make sweeping statements about either gender, surely there are chat rooms and other web sites that will welcome this type of discourse

I find men slightly more annoying. They've got nothing I want and show an impressive capacity to learn intricate details about all manner of things, sport things mainly.

Women on the other hand smell nice and sometimes laugh at your jokes even when they're not funny. Yep, women are less annoying for sure.

i am sure you can always find a man who is better than a woman and vise versa.

it all depends on the PERSON. if that person is annoying or not annoying, not the gender.....
