What is driving oil prices up?

scroll down a ways and you will find this:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') more controversial concern is the so-called "peak oil" theory: the idea that the world has reached the natural limits of oil exploitation, and that there is little more to be found in the ground whatever the price.

Yes, and by "little more to be found in the ground" we mean only 1 trillion barrels or so... I'm sure a less accurate representation of Peak Oil is technically possible, but this is up there as far as disinformational BS goes...

Yes, they should have said "little more easily-recoverable, decent-quality crude to be found in the ground of politically stable nations".

Then it would've been 100 percent accurate, wouldn't it?

And yet, the Beeb does a wonderful job raising awareness with their 'Fueling the future'-program.
I see no other mainstream medium tackling energy and climate issues the way BBC does.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.
