The Goodthing about Evolution

Unread postby Atlantean_Relic » Thu 30 Mar 2006, 01:45:21

Is that if we mangae to cut down the Biodiversity to rats roachs, algae and fungi, at least they my be able to evolve in to some new things. Honestly, Nasa Should stop decontaminating their probes. Sneeze, all over them and then send them out in every direction. Or better yet fill them with petridishes.

Never dismiss Rats, they are survival artists and can eat about anything you can imagine without being harmed much (supposedly they even deal quite good with heavy metals on a level where we high-performance human beings long would have gone into the bushes to die).

Richard Dawkins had a bit in his latest book about a hypothetical evolutionary branching of rats after a nuclear war. Rat grazers, rat predators, rats in all kinds of niches. That photo, albente, is creepy. Why are these people feeding all these ugly rats? Remember the "cute" thread? I say that rats are not cute.

Sabre toothed rat!

But I don't think they are feeding them...I think they are making rat soup.
It's all downhill from here

So the rats put bacteria into the milk which cultures it? Interesting. But I still hate the sight of those things. Amazing, those little kids don't seem bothered at all. Must be conditioning that make me antagonistic to rats. I was sad about killing the mice (a little) but rats....yeesh!
