Obviously we need to charge a steep entry fee, that'll make it all OK.

You didn't hear this from me, but... the homebuilding and construction lobbies (read: among the largest GOP contributors & 50+% of GDP growth) would have a fit if their costs of doing business went up as a result of immigration tightening. Therefore, [fill in the blank].

emersonB is now getting to the core truth. Thus the 2.2 million acre loss of open space each year in the US. connect the dots. The shitstorm is growing. all going to plan.actually going a bit faster than I thought.

He's right. A crew of mexicans can brick a house in 1 day for half the wage of a bonded contractor or unionized worker would do it for. The builders have already cut corners on materials that barely meet code. Any other cost increases hits the bottom line.

The question is why are they here ? 11 million is the estimate of the government and numbersusa.com estimates upward of 20 million .
Why the billions of dollars for Homeland Security and yet wide open borders ?
The government seems to want an underclass here . Too many secret agendas and lies .The biggest being the war in Iraq. The hearings on immigration were held behind closed doors in the beginning. athe government who has ignored the citizens these past 5-7 years also ignore the laws of the land .

This is all tied up with THEIR vision of the future but I cannot seem to connect the dots on this one .They KNOW there will be a severe energy crisis in the future and yet are about to welcome an underclass.

The borders aren't wide open. It's just that there is enough frontier between USA and Mexico that crossing the border for a determined Mexican remains perfectly possible, and will remain so for the forseeable future.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('anneliese-nyc', 'T')he question is why are they here ?

Because the elites WANT them here.

As you know, we could close the border tomorrow.

Look at the benefits our elected representatives receive from their Open Border policies:

- Big financial contributions from labor-intensive industries
- Press events saying "Look how anti-racist I am! I love little brown people!"
- More Catholics to vote for increasing Theocracy
- Ultra-cheap lawn-boys, golf caddies, and housemaids.
- More uneducated socialists who'll vote for increased Authoritarian Statism

It's a win-win for our Senators and Emperor. Meanwhile, We, the former middle-class pay and decline.

I've ridden motorcyles all over Texas for years. The population increase in trailer houses with their septic lines emptying into the creeks has been astounding. I can literally smell the difference from 5 years ago on the same roads.

I personally know 5 people who've been run over by illegals with no liability insurance. They take their ticket from the officer and simply disappear, never to be heard from again.

Things like automobile liability insurance, registered vehicles, and driving sober are not "part of their culture".
Conform . Consume . Obey .

Well, all this immigration debate etc in the US Senate, on t.v., and on the streets is much ado about nothing - the immigration decision has already been made, its final, endgame, no debate, courtesy of the Department of Homeland Security. They've mapped out the immigration strategy from 2003-2012, see "Endgame" attached hereto.

Wow! They really mean to round up every undocumented alien and deport them? All 12 million of them? I'll believe it when it happens.

Yep Tommy. Nail.. meet hammer.

What's left of the middle class is paying the price. Five years ago my neighborhood was a relatively representative mix of races... now I am the last White guy on the block. There was a Black family but they moved away too. I realize that change is normal and ok but the pace of change in my area is just astounding. Increasingly people around here simply refuse to speak any English. I've stopped picking up the trash thrown on my lawn... it's just a hopeless effort at this point. Integration is a lost cause, these people are about accommodation and at some point soon utter cultural dominance.

Here's a photo of the protests last weekend that you won't be seeing on CNN. These people want to be Americans right?

The "war on terrorism" is a scam and a joke. See 1984, George Orwell.
The US and mexican government are the enemy of the people of the US.
Also the hatred they have towrds the gringo is misdirected and shows lack of knowledge. The mexican Government is thier enemy. See Zapata the revolutionary. They need to emulate this GREAT Mexican warrior. The racism of the mexicans towrds their Indians is horrifying. These new immigrants are racism personified. Yet the blame is on the gringo. whofully misdirected these cretins are. specious thinking to say the least. The US government has zero credibility along with mexico. I would move on past the goverment. they will be our brutal enemy soon enough. We need lots of wilderness areas. They are needed for freedom. another thing the gubmint wants to exterminate. they want us in the open or imprisoned in city death traps. Easy to lay down fire and brimstone on the subjects.
Its all about the top 10 percent holding the wealth. we are just another fuedal system.
WE DO NOT NEED ANYMORE CARCASSES ON THE HEAP. PERIOD. MORE MEANS MORE SUFFERING AND DEATH.

numbersusa has good data however the data is actually dated. The num, bers of illegals in the country is more laong the lines of 30+ million. add in all the traitors and others that want us dead its more in the 80+ million mark.
Numbersusa is one of the TRUTH sites. I have already wrote roy beck about some numbers being dated and how they are a low representation. Hope he changes them. Its good to see a smart common sense person like yourself reading numbersusa. Lots of folks have hard time with that site becuase it goes against their ingrained norms. Good job! Read up youll see the real deal quagmire we are in that wont get better until it ggets worse.

Yep, and they already have the legal authority to do this... but you know they are going to wait until the crash (money or oil) so it's really kind of pointless right now. The debate now is to fool us into thinking they really care about the problem. Of course it's not "their" problem really, a matter of perspective.

These cretins have spit on and mocked the graves of the great Cesar Chavez and Zapata! They are an embarassment to their nation. Bring it on.
They have hijacked Cesar Chavez's organization and have ruined it.

PMS -

They don't have to detain everyone, just the troublemakers - you included. Kinda like shooting into an unruly crowd, just a few go down and the crowd disperses, kind a like Kent State.

In fact, when I did riot training in the army, we practiced intentionally letting trouble makers through the line so that they could be arrested by a second group of soldiers just behind the line. Take out the leaders and the problem goes away.

So, detain all 11 million? There's no need.

Oh yeah, stop me if you've heard this one: A mexican is sneaking across the border and is stopped by a Border Patrol agent who asks the Mexican if he is an American. The Mexican says "si, er I mean yes!" The Border Patrol guy says, "OK, I'll let you in if you can use the words 'green', 'pink', and 'yellow' in a sentence. The Mexican says, "No problema, 'The phone green, I pink it up and say yellow'".

Now, PMS raises an interesting point, is there security in numbers? Can the DHS lock up everyone? Well, for those of you who don't know, the Army is prepared to assist DHS with the lockup. In Feb 2005, the Army instituted Policy 210-35 which is its "Civilian Inmate Labor Program." Under this new policy, the Army is authorized to use civilian inmate labor on any military base at no charge to the gov't. Effectively, this turns any US military installation into a prison, detention facility, should that be necessary.

We all know, Seahorse2, that things will get very bad. Can there be any doubt? I have said it many times already, I love my homeland, people who think we are the New Nazis are wrong in my book. Perhaps I am naive. I expect to shed many tears before this all over. It's going to be very painful to adjust to the reality of shrinking resources, and not just for Americans. I guess that Mexico will be hit hard with famine and death before us.
