I think you should make a necklace from their dried skulls.

It's been 4 days and no mice seen or captured. Looks like maybe that fourth mouse was the last one (?) I never did catch it but one mouse that I never see won't bother me much I guess. Interesting that the 'kill the mouse' votes won out.

Maybe they didn't have time to breed, in which case you're lucky :) Let's hope they don't make a reappearance.

Yes, in the end you have to make the tough choice. I like the bear den analogy. Personally I have nothing against them in the wild and they do a lot of useful things in the food chain, just not in my house.

After over a week I just watched a mouse dodge every trap on it's way somewhere. This could have more chapters.

I think you should kill and eat the mouse to prepare yourself for the post peak world.

I hate to say it so I won't. Damn.

Mouse skull necklace time.

Put on the huntin' hat and florecents. Time to go make a phone call.

I'm waiting for the thread, "Human in my apartment". On the internet, nobody knows you're a mouse, generally speaking. I'd like to call out all of the mice stealthily clicking away at their human's computer, while he/she sleeps and ask them what they think.

It's been a few weeks and no mice seen or trapped. Looks like I wiped 'em out. I never did see that mouse #4 again. Couldn't say what happened to it. Must have gone out the way it came in.

He must have smelled the carnage and bugged out. Wahoo. Let's hope that's the end of it - if so you've probably avoided the worst :)
