Sorry for my lengthy break, I know you missed me. I got caught up in Thanksgiving dinner and the Christmas cheer. But now that I have settled into the New Year, I will be back on this board.

I havn't been able to keep up-to-date with the Oil industry lately, so can anybody give me a quick recap and update me on recent developements?

How is MonteQuest doing? Has he caught any "bears in the woods", being the forest ranger he is?

I just thought I'd share a funny story that happened while I was bringing in the New Years... Me, the Wife (or the old lady as I like to refer to her as :-D),and her parents were all sitting around the fireplace up at our cottage (that doesn't have a TV I might add). So we were getting ready to "ring in the new year". At 12 O'clock we were all giving hugs and partied. Then we decided to listen to the radio, thats when it hit... WE WERE AN HOUR LATE! I heard Susan Kenwell on the radio saying, "One hour into the new year, people are still going nuts!" That's when I remember last time we were at the cottage in the summer, I never changed the clocks forward! It was quite funny...

Anyone else want to share some funny stories?

Yep.

When we were little our parents used to let us stay up on new years eve to watch the celebration from Times Square on the TV.

The ball dropped, we all blew little horns, the parents sent us off to bed.

Thing is, we lived in Iowa, which is on central time. They were sending us to bed an hour early.

I don't remember how old we were when we finally figured it out.
