Suppose you are on Boy George's Super Sekrete Enemies List and need to fly to Europe and back. Can you get around this ban by driving up to Canada and buying a round-trip ticket from there? Or does this list stop all nations and/or airlines from letting you fly?

I don't fly anyway, but I am rather disappointed that the government would illegally scour the paperwork pertaining to its citizens without a warrant. But then again, I really didn't expect anything better from that oversized piece of shit we have for a government anyway.

If I was on that no fly list I'd see it as a declaration of being an unwanted citizen. I'd probably work towards taking a one way ticket away to some other country that would welcome me.
