One of the Greatest Evils!

It's called "debt".

Being in debt is akin to slowly bleeding to death. I used to carry a balance of about $5k on two credit cards. Then I smartened up and paid it off. Now my only debt is a $12Kcar loan and about $200.00 on a VISA.

This blog got me thinking about the evils of debt. One of the responders posted about trying to "get even" with the bank over a minor late fee by completely stopping payments. http://deconsumption.typepad.com/decons ... t-12652203

Bad move!

Read this about how some have lived and succeeded without debt.

GET OUT OF DEBT AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

One of the many reasons I don't respect christains is that they are such sheeple. If they were conscious they'd demand an immediate end to usury which the bible warns us against. Today some credit cards charge interests rates 20% or higher.

I'd say one of the greatest evils is greed, which is the root of debt. Creditors are greedy which is why they demand interest. Though interest and debt has become such a major part of the economy, it would utterly devestate it if it was abandoned overnight.

No, it wouldn't.

Milton Friedman proposed a means of getting rid of the Fed and debt in under a year.
