From what I hear, you need 800 random respondents in order for a poll to be valid. Do any of you know how much it would cost to sponsor a poll?

1. Have you ever heard the term "peak oil."

2. Blah blah blah.

I think it would be extremely interesting to take a poll and see whether people are aware of this issue.

IIRC adding a question to a Zogby poll costs something like 1000 dollars.

CNN/mney just held a poll this week. The question was: What was the top business news story of the past week? The response was:

I think we can safely assume that most of these people are not aware of peak oil.
