OilsNotWell, good to see someone remembered the old discussion.

Just in case you missed the "What's new" page, Bea and her daughter
had been each drawing $3,200 plus expenses per month and the other
committee members had not known it. Then the next paragraph, about
having to raise $38,000 each of the next 12 months to pay expenses
and in order to be able to refile the lawsuit.

In 1992 I got a call from my parents. They were very excited because they had found out from some friends of theirs, (direct decedents of John Walling) that it was possible for them to join, for a fee, with the family in a law suit that was going to be filed in Texas against some large oil companies for recovery of land and unpaid royalties. This association is comprised of family members and none, in order to pay any legal fees in the hopes of making a recovery, without any guarantees.

My wife and I also joined. Over the years we came to know several of the board members. We attended several association meetings as well as the 5th District Court of Appeals hearing.

As a side note, Ms. Coffee is my sister. She and her husband did receive money from an oil company and did lie to the TV station reporter. Needless to say their association membership became voided.

I have several relatives and friends who have been association members for a number of years and most of them continue their memberships currently.

I would encourage anyone who may be contemplating joining the Walling association to do their due-diligence and determine by themselves, without the opinions of others.

For anyone who may be interested, as it seems that many of you here are, that after an audit, Marvin Sission has been removed from any affiliation with the Walling group. Also, Attny. Mr. Yuthes services are no longer needed either.

I will not offer any opinion here. Instead I would encourage you to do your own research, if you have interest, and draw your own conclusions.

Finally I will offer that in no way has there ever been any influence of any political party, positive or negative that has caused the Walling interest to move in ay direction, or take any action.

As I understand it, the "audit" was performed by Bea Thedford's daughter, one of the people responsible for all the donations the Walling Heirs contributed over the past 18 years. How credible is that?

There is also some court proceedings against Thedford in Tennessee and it isn't in her favor. I would guess that if she were truly a "victim" then things would be going better for her. It's always the guilty ones that holler the loudest that it's someone else's fault. She always has someone to blame when she gets in trouble. Just look at her past.

On a side note it seems that the cour is also interested in Thedford's accounting and has appointed a special master to audit everything. I wouldn't jump on any bandwagon to defend her just yet. If she was innocent, why is she fighting the court so hard to turn over the accounting? Who has more to hide? Her or a few committee members that are investigating her?

She has long promised riches beyond belief. She got paid. Her daughters got paid. The members got the bill. And people will still try to defend her????

From what I have heard, this case is still very much alive. There is talk of help from the Gatekeepers and that they are making things happen and a settlement is in the works. For the sake of the rightful heirs I hope this is true.
