Generation Gap

Unread postby PenultimateManStanding » Sat 08 Oct 2005, 23:59:33

When I was a kid the buzz was 'don't trust anyone over thirty'. Well, that isn't a healthy situation. The young need the old for many reasons. Fortunately, my own kids look up to me and care about my opinions. But I look around and see the damage done to inter-generational relations. It seems like cultural entropy to me.

There's always been a tension between generations (I've heard tell). But maybe it is a bit more defined over the last few generations, because there has been so much change so quickly, that the children of today live in a totally different world to their parents, and even more removed from their grandparents time.
Kind regards, Katkinkate
