Burj Al Arab
321m in height, tallest hotel in the world. 220 rooms.
Palm Island
Three artificial islands in the shape of palm trees will shelter nearly 500 apartments, 2,000 villas, 25 hotels and 200 luxury shops. Palm Jumeirah, the most advanced of the islands, will be completed by the end of 2005.
125 km of additional coastline will have been created.
Burj Dubai
800m tower, to be completed by 2008. Construction started in Jan. 05.
Hydropolis
Underwater hotel, completely assembled in Germany, to be submerged in sea near Dubai in 2006. Prices start at $500/night.
Dubai Marina
New city, costs over $10 billion. Will house 120,000 people.
Dubai City Sports
Immense, 7.5 sq km sports complex will have cricket, rugby, football, etc. arenas & associated housing and development
The World, Dubai
300 artificial islands, in the shape of the 'world', obviously. One island will cost somewhere between $6m and $37m USD. To be completed in late 2005.
Dubailand Dinosaur Park
Theme park with over 45 different attractions, including this one, envisioning prehistoric lands, complete with flora and fauna of the period.
Dubailand Ski Dome
An indoor ski dome, enough said.
