New Peak Oil T-Shirts

Unread postby Guest » Sat 04 Sep 2004, 01:40:16

www.oilcrisis.com has started updating their site. They also have some nifty t-shirts, which can be seen here:

www.cafepress.com/peakoilaware/

I am starting to have some hope that the renewable energy shift can happen. It looks like a lot of smart people are working to make it happen, but it's going to take a political shift to provide the massive funding shift.
Perhaps wearing this can help to spread the word to make it happen?
(I am not connected in any way with these sites or t-shirt sales, BTW)

Of all the convincing arguments I've seen, a peak oil shirt that my fucking dog can wear is bound to inform thousands of people. Still, maybe there is nothing wrong with a little eco-capitalism.

:D

I don't often laugh when I come here but that was pretty good. Good to see another resource updating.
You observed it from the start
Now you’re a million miles apart
As we bleed another nation
So you can watch you favorite station
Now you eyes pop out your sockets
Dirty hands and empty pockets
Who? You!

For this product, I would have chosen another punchline:
"Even my dog knows about Peak Oil ! So why don't you ?"

Heh, I ran across this shirt from a link at Daily KOS. Thought this crowd would appreciate it.

And this one is decent, but sold out.

Hmm... Is it saying "I clean my ears out with gasoline" or maybe "Gas is so cheep I wash my hair with it" I just dont get the point... It needs a catchy phrase to bring it togather.

Image[/quote]

Ok, this one is just wierd... "America, we paint the whole brain with oil" Again, needs a bit of verbage to bring it togather.

:-D :-D

maybe it should say something like: "With gasoline prices rising high, just keep consuming and you'll surely die"

I suppose, they seem pretty self explanitory to me. I just bought this one, along with the "petrolcide" It is a bit more self-evident I guess.

well...i do have a 'stop supporting terrorism, ride a bike" thats actually how i arrived at the oil on the brain design...weird how that works out eh?

yea i got some sales..j-rod your stuff should be on its way, im pretty sure it went out yesterday. i'd have to check my post office reciepts. but since you ordered 2 it got shipped out priority so you should get it today or tomorrow.

really thank you guys so much for reposting that link. you are helping this carpenter turned graphics instigator stay afloat.

You would probabably laugh if you saw what my little kansas prarie operation looked like. Should take some pictures of it and post them for you? I know that would probably hurt sales from this site but i look at it and i think its funny.
