$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('markam', 'I') got hit in a 737 taking off from Atlanta. The left engine was struck and it exploded. We immediately went into a dive, and barely leveled out before crashing. After getting the plane under control, the pilot gets on the speaker and says, "Ladies and gentleman, as you might have realized, that was not normal. We will be returning to Atlanta now."
This was not one of my more pleasant experiences.
I have also had the cabin pressurization system in a plane go out and a fuel line blow out on a prop plane as we were preparing to take-off (causing an engine fire). You don't want to be on a plane with me.
Gawd damn, that's scary. On another note... you see how the "tracer" flash happens just before the main jolt in the video? Still don't understand how that works....
